Ever wished you could step into the pages of your favorite book?
One of our favorite spots to visit in the Midwest, The Rabbit hOle in Kansas City, MO, is an immersive and interactive museum dedicated to the history and art of children’s literature. Filled to the brim with books to peruse while exploring the exhibits, visitors can cozy up in the Great Green Room from Goodnight Moon, ride a bus to the Last Stop on Market Street, and take a slide down Where the Sidewalk Ends.

We went yesterday to check out their limited-time experience based on The Three Robbers by Tomi Ungerer, which was an absolute delight. We were also excited to find that their new Beautiful Blackbird exhibit was recently unveiled, and we had a blast animating our own colorful bird adventures. Best of all, we topped it off with some treats at Max’s Cafe and a shopping spree at the attached Lucky Rabbit Bookstore.

If you’re in the KCMO area or planning on visiting, I can’t recommend The Rabbit hOle enough. It’s an utterly magical experience for children’s book lovers of all ages, and not to be missed.
