Summer Reading Day 32: Today’s book was one that JJ could really sink her teeth into (sorry). Rosie Revere, Engineer by Andrea Beaty is one of the best books we’ve read so far! Beyond the character of a little GIRL who loves to build and invent, it tells a fantastic story about persistence and courage, as well as imparting the wisdom that failure is a natural part of progress, one just has to learn from it. My favorite line from the book: “Life might have its failures, but this was not it. The only true failure can come if you quit.” Great characters, great illustrations, great rhymes. We’ll definitely be picking up a copy of our own!
