Nothing gets us more excited than a bookish care package, and this week’s is a treat for music lovers, sci-fi fans, multiverse aficionados, or anyone who loves a great middle grade novel!

In Time for a Change, the second book in Questlove, S.A. Cosby, and Godwin Akpan’s stellar Afrofuturist time-travel adventure series, pals Rahim and Kasia are back to join forces with the mysterious Aevum, a clandestine organization that watches over the flow of time. But there are more than a few hazards to encounter on their first mission: robots?! Temporal paradoxes?! Doppelgängers?!

It was great that our package came with a copy of the first novel, too; we loved revisiting how Rahim and Kasia’s journey kicked off after accidentally traveling to the 1990s (a pretty nostalgic time for some grown-up readers, myself included).
