How adorable is this little care package we got to celebrate the upcoming release of Bartleby by Matt Phelan, which hits bookshelves on March 3rd!

Not only is this dapper little polar bear a visual treat, but his story is also a relatable one, especially for those who prefer to approach social situations on their own terms. When Bartleby joins a new classroom, his peers are puzzled by his quiet yet polite refusal to join in their raucous play. But Bartleby isn’t being rude; he simply prefers to engage with others on terms that he is comfortable with.

This book is so charming, and will definitely strike a chord with little ones (and their grownups) who are introverted or otherwise content to do things their own way. I love the little button that was sent along with the book, and that adorable print is getting framed ASAP and put up in my office!
