Preparing for a move can be rough on little ones and can leave them with a lot of questions that don’t have easy answers. Will they like their new home? Will they make new friends? Will all of their stuff make it to the next home?
As always, books can help young readers and their grown-ups work through these anxieties together. Whether the main character is, like them, apprehensive about a big move or a kind narrator providing reassurance in their new space, books like these two are a great way to spark conversations and confront fears.
