On a move from Arizona to California in 1955, young Virginia spots a reindeer out the car window… a FLYING reindeer. This hilarious and heartwarming middle grade graphic novel is a perfect holiday mixture of madcap antics and genuine warmth. Young readers are sure to identify with Virginia, and her frustrations at being patronized, and her quick-blossoming friendship with Benny is incredibly sweet. The adventure is also genuinely intriguing and exciting, filled with a dash of danger and a wonderfully satisfying ending.
