Happy book birthday to two very different books!

On the silly side of things, Happy Pal-A-Palooza! is another delightfully creative and engaging activity book from the madcap mind of Mo Willems, starring the beloved pals Elephant Gerald and Piggie. As we’ve said before, Mo Willems activity books are a step above the rest, featuring storylines and the clever humor that makes Willems’s literary universe so appealing to young readers. Definitely get this one for little creatives!

On the spookier side of things, 90s kids will be delighted to know that Are You Afraid of the Dark? has been hitting bookshelves as a series of terrifying middle grade horror titles! Whether a fan of the franchise or simply a lover of all things eerie and frightening, The Tale of the Vanishing Circus by Kayla Cottingham is a great read for keeping spooky season flourishing into winter.
