When Walter showed up at the door of Samantha and her family, Sam knew something was special about her new feline friend right away. Walter clued her in: he was a trained secret agent, codename “Kitty Pants.” However, whenever mischief is afoot in their house, her parents blame Walter – even when he saves the day! Can Sam convince Mom and Dad that Walter is a hero?
Pure goofiness here, but in the best possible way. The somewhat deadpan humor and delightfully wibbly-wobbly artwork of Mahoney make this decidedly silly tale shine, and youngsters who are fans of comedy and kitty cats will love the antics of Walter and the obliviousness of Sam’s parents. Baby Bookworm approved!
