Hello, friends! Today, we read the book Bedtime For Monsters by Ed Vere, a monstrously silly bedtime book.

Imagine, if you will, the possibility that maybe, in far off land, monsters are real. And one monster is making his way over hill and dale, across mountains and rivers to come and see you! What could he want? Oh no… does he want to >gulp< eat you up? Or is his aim even more nefarious than that?

This was a fun and silly bedtime book with a fantastically cute twist ending that kids will adore. The length was great, and colorful illustrations complete the package. JJ had a lot of fun with this one, especially the twist. This is one of those simple, entertaining books that monsters of every size can get a kick out of. Baby Bookworm approved!
