Summer Reading Day 35: So we had to skip our extra book yesterday due to a very busy day (we still got our ten minutes of reading in with our bedtime routine book, though), as we had our best buddy Betty’s birthday bash to attend 🙂 So today’s book choice seemed appropriate: Good News, Bad News by Jeff Mack. This is a sweet book that tells a colorful story, mostly only using the words from the title, of a rabbit and mouse trying to have a picnic despite several setbacks. The illustrations are simple and engaging, and fun to describe to little ones. We had fun with this one!
